Gregg is Director, Worldwide Business Development at GSK where he has been the transaction lead for a wide range of deals including:
· Research collaborations and in-licensing of early stage (pre-clinical to phase I) pharmaceutical and biotech compounds
· In-licensing late stage biotech and pharmaceutical compounds
· Regional and worldwide co-marketing, co-promotion and cross-promotion agreements
· Re-negotiation of existing licensing agreements
Gregg's responsibilities include creating and delivering capabilities presentations to potential partners, coordinating commercial due diligence, conducting financial analysis, structuring deals, writing investment memoranda, negotiating deals and securing senior management and BOD approval.

Prior to joining GlaxoSmithKline, Gregg was a Principal with a life sciences venture capital firm where he was responsible generating deal flow, conducting due diligence, structuring deals, writing and negotiating term sheets and syndicating investments. Gregg also has extensive operating experience with start-ups and has worked with venture-backed companies involved in the medical device and eHealth fields. His responsibilities have included marketing, strategic planning and business development. He has written and executed the marketing launch plans for a number of health care products including a pharmaceutical compound, a biotechnology compound, two medical devices and an Internet health application. He has been responsible for managing key strategic relationships with Fortune 100 partners and in shaping product offerings.

Gregg began his life sciences career in sales, marketing and business development positions with Janssen Pharmaceutica and Burroughs Wellcome. He holds a BA in Economics from UNC-Chapel Hill and an MBA from UNC's Kenan-Flagler School of Business.
