BioFusion 2008 will be held at the CDC Global Communications Center, site of BioSouth's 2006 CDC Technology Forum. The CDC Global Communications Center opened in the Fall of 2005 as a state-of-the-art meeting and conference center at the global headquarters of the CDC in Atlanta, Georgia. The CDC employs over 6,500 in Atlanta, and works in close collaboration with the region's bioscience industry. Nearly 200 biotech, pharmaceutical and medical device companies and institutions are within a 30 minute drive of the CDC headquarters, providing additional opportunities for delegates to discover the South's burgeoning bioscience industry.
