2006 Program
Highlights
from the 2006 conference:
Technology
Presentations
Companies,
universities and research institutions from across the globe presented
cutting edge technologies available for partnering and licensing.
Technology Showcase
Open House
Senior
executives, scientists and business development representatives for
emerging and established bioscience technologies reached the BioFusion
audience in this interactive pavilion environment.
Technology
Seekers
Large
pharma, medical device and biotechnology leaders spoke to the audience
about the types of technologies they are seeking and discussed their
methodologies for partnering and licensing. Participants:
Merck,
GlaxoSmithKline, Solvay, 3M, Eli Lilly, Pfizer and Genzyme.
Partnering
Meetings
One-to-one
meetings allowed for further partnering discussions and were arranged
prior to the conference through biopartnering.com
or on-site with the help of our meetings staff.
A unique and powerful internet tool, biopartnering.com, allows a proactive
user to prepare for private meetings with potential partners before
attending a conference. You are able to access the password protected
area of the site to research partnering opportunities through keyword
searches of detailed profiles on all companies, contact other users,
arrange private meetings and reserve meeting space at an event.

For registered conference
attendees only.
Golf Tournament &
Networking
BioFusion colleagues gathered for networking
and fun at the Duke
University Golf Club for the first annual BioFusion Golf Tournament
on Sunday, September 17th. That evening, we welcomed all of our guests
at the Washington Duke's Terrace on the Green for our opening cocktail
reception. Monday evening featured a dinner reception in the Durham
community that was another great networking opportunity.
